I am midway through another tour of Western Queensland conducting a series of Author’s talks.

A small but enthusiastic crowd greeted me at Charters Towers, Hughenden and Winton libraries over the past couple of days. Thanks to Lia, Mim and Amada for hosting.

Travelling around Australia as I do, I am continually astounded by the beauty of the place. On a little used road from Home Hill to Ravenswood, there is as lookout. Wow what a view.

Then on arrival at Charters Towers I was rewarded with the best rissoles ever!

The best Rissoles ever!

Dropped by the Railway Hotel in Ravenswood and caught up with publican John who is passionate about the history of his pub. Well worth a visit. The beer is cold and John will happily sign your copy of Railway Hotels of Australia.

Check out the tour dates on the ‘Upcoming Talks & Events’ calendar and come and say “Hi”.
